this week in the garden

flea market finds

lots of crochet and lace trim, books, an old water color paint tin

and 2 player piano sheet music

of course lots of metal

8 pieces of tin crown molding and 2 beautifully crackled finials

locks and keys and more metal!!!

as we winded our way down the back road past buffalo,ny

we discovered a great garden center, lots of little antique shops

in varysbury, warsaw. perry, and mt. morris

and a great barn sale in leicester

(i'll post my finds tomorrow)

sitting at my friend lu's house

enjoying a nice meal and a bottle of wine

planing our road trip for tomorrow to buffalo

on the list, lots of antique , resale, thrift shops

flea markets and barn sales

summertime blooms

with no rain in sight my sprinkler had been working overtime

this heatwave had made working in the garden difficult

and the weeds have taken over

i did get a chance to snap a few shots of some of the summer blooms

time to come inside and cool off!!

and get some work done on the computer
i've been behind on my lessons with my on-line class with marie otero

week two was all about portrait enhancements

i rarely take photos of people

unless they are unusual characters, in costume or kids
