well, almost!just a few miles from lake placid is whiteface
the only adirondack mountain whose
summit can be reached by road
and it has a wonderful view of the lake
the perfect spot to watch the sun rise
i thought i was the only person up this early!
the fall colours were spectacular

Wow, gorgeous photos! I want to be sitting in one of those adirondack chairs with a hot cup of coffee and a throw and watch the sunrise.
