encaustic class

the thought of being inside in such at beautiful day was a bit distracting

but once the wax was warm it got a little easier

i've been trying to change up my colour palette

this week i started with grey and pink

adding some of the blue and yellow from the map i used as my background
and the vw bug from a science book was a bonus

cheesecloth always adds some yummy texture

so does a little umber oil paint
all in all it was a great class

Really lovely colour choices. It wasn't that nice outside.

Love it! All the yummy colors and texture. Cheesecloth is one of my favorites.

Love them all - especially the last two.

I've been a big fan and follower forever and want to share the love. TAG, you're it. See my blog for details, but no pressure. If you don't wanna play, don't have time, don't like these games, whatever - I'm totally ok with that. I'll still continue visiting your blog. :-) http://creative-explorer.blogspot.com/2012/03/tag.html
