i couldn't decided which photo to use

one of my favorite things to photograph is architecture
so i decided, since most of the

group members are american ,

that i would show them a bit of my city

this months theme for my photo journal book is sacred

so many things came to mind and when i found this quote

i've always said that my art is my therapy

her photo splits up the middle and opens to reveals another wonderful photo

and he hand paints his prints

blooms book

i love getting mail

i belong to a photo journal group hosted by

catherine anderson

this months theme was "blooms"

i couldn't decide between 4 so i included them all

it's always interesting to see how catherine will present each book

this one, i'm sure, took a lot of time to put together

each page was sewn to a long strip of fabric and then folded into a book

it will look great as a wall hanging or kept as a book

illumination

tuesdays challenge-illumination

the most amazing exhibit of illumination that i have seen

is the Chinese Lantern Festival

last year i spent hours wondering around Ontario Place in awe,

taking tons of pictures, wondering how much work went into making this happen

larger than life lanterns of dragons, ancient structures, soldiers and more,

on land and in the water lit the whole island

i can't wait to experience it again.

in this day of instant communications it's nice to actually get

something delivered to your home!

i joined a photo journal group hosted by Catherine Anderson several years ago

and have enjoyed the challenge, working on a theme and

the results are a wonderful surprise in the mail!

this projects theme was "shades of white"

and of course Catherine has out done herself!

it's always exciting opening the package to see not only some great photos

but the way they are presented

it's will be fun to see what every one's interpretation of white will be
