after a week of rain and cool temperaturesthings are really looking lush in my garden
the huge siberian elmhas bloomed early
casting a lovely shadow on the back lawn
my woodland garden at the backis getting lots more sun
now that the cherry tree is gone
hopefully the shade plants won't mind
the extra sun
even "beanie" seems to "fit" intrying to hide under the bird bath

Isn't it nice to see things green again. I was out barbecueing on Sun. and was so tempted to pull a few weeds. But it was Mother's Day so I refrained, I'm sure supper would have been burnt.
