teach  (encaustic at busy b's and christmas tree pin at john bead),

 which also includes lesson plans, kits and samples

crocheting, putting the garden to bed and

all my regular chores and work

i needed a little break

and nothing works better than a walk on the beach

flea market finds

so many cute things at the flea market

luckily i had my iphone

this way i didn't spend a fortune!!

i just signed up for susan tuttle's latest class

this will be my 6th class with susan and i am looking forward

learning these new techniques

its been a while since i have taken out any of my toy cameras

since going digital i always forget about them

plus finding film is getting harder and developing expensive

but i do love the unexpected images like light leeks and double exposures

but on a flip side i do have an iphone which can replicate some of these

now if i can just get the same apps for my computer to

use in ps i will be a happy girl!!!

sorry about the last post, i tried to link my instagram to my blog and somehow it got lost??

so i'm trying it another way

i got my i phone march of 2010, i love it but i always forget about the camera option

i always carry my little camera in my purse, so i'm used to using it

at the beginning of the year a friend told me about instagram

a free app for iphones that lets you share your photos with other iphone photographers

so i signed up, my user name cherry 2000,(it's a movie reference),

you can find and follow others from all over the world and post comments

now, i just have to leave my little camera at home and use my iphone more often!!

catching up on my blog reading since my technical difficulties

i was visiting my friend marie and her post out and about in nyc

it is wonderful to see how my friends spend their days

and her photos are always stunning

as i got to the end of the posting

i laughed at her conversation with her DH

"since when did a sandwich and coffee cost that much?"

DH goes..... "well, it's new york"

i go....... " it's day light robbery"

i'm sure i've had this conversation with my friends

out and about in toronto

sometimes you just want a quick lunch

soup and share a sandwich or salad

with a coffee or tea

and its $30-$40

well i'm here to tell you that sometimes you find a deal

or get your monies worth

even in a trendy neighbourhood

i take classes in the distillery every wednesday

and as a treat i will head over to the brick street bakery

above, left my lunch, a vegetarian with bacon!!!( i know. i know)

with a bottle water and a chocolate chip cookie for $12!
you can also get a blt for $4.50 /$5 with cheese

and of course they have all the sweets you can image

when my friends said they were taking me to

see the lunacy cabaret on saturday nite

i wasn't sure what to expect

we arrived at zero gravity around 8 pm

luckily it wasn't sold out
