"broken"

thursdays challenge
"broken"
one of my favorite things to do
is get in the car and
find a road i've never been on
a few years ago, my friend lennie and i
wondered up and down
some country roads
and found some really cool places
a swamp, a couple of old cemeteries
and a gas station with several old trucks
i just happened to have some extra rolls of b/w film
and managed to take some great shots

Beautiful photos. You so rarely see black and white these days. I find that photos done this way are often tinged with a quiet sadness, an amazing detail that focusses clearly on the subject. Don't get me wrong. I also love colour. Even colour painted black and white. Whatever...I love this post.

Wow, A wonderful shot. So glad you seen the underlying beauty in this old truck. It fits great with the broken theme, of course. I wish more people still used black and white film. Sometime's color takes away from the true beauty of a photographs subject.

Well balanced composition. So piecefull and quiet. This would look nice framed on a wall. Very well done!
